We strongly recommend backing up your game save files before delving into the dungeons. Enter these Chalice Dungeons at your own risk. Most normal rituals will result in a dungeon with three layers. Naturally, there are lots and lots of issues with these recreations, as they were never meant to be played. Chalice Dungeons are completely optional extra areas with their own bosses at the end of each layer. WARNING: It’s probably worth noting that this cut content is hardly finished, stable, or bug tested. Two recently-discovered bosses are the best cut content yet discovered - they’re fully animated, textured, and sampled with piercing screeches, and you can fight them. The venerable player didn’t just hack through the game files to find cut content, she’s also shared some incredible Chalice Dungeons. Normally, players can cook up and share their particular dungeons after they’ve been generated, but one player ( Zullie the Witch) went above and beyond. then i'll go back and get the 3rd ending by finishing that initial new game i started with the scuffed character build (i'm already on the wet nurse anyway).Delve deeper into the nightmare than ever before - some incredible fans of the seminal Souls-like Bloodborne didn’t just uncover two complete boss battles after hacking the game’s files, the bosses have been recreated in Chalice Dungeons that anyone can access with the proper code.Ĭhalice Dungeons are the procedurally-generated optional areas that are jam-packed with secrets. i also finished the dlc and got all those trophies with this file. on this latter file, i finished the hidden ending, just started new game+, got the weapon trophy, and intend to finish a 2nd ending and the queen eventually. personally, i did two new games: a run where i just did whatever and tried out the arcane tools and various weapons then another where i made a specific build and rushed a specific weapon to beat the game with. if you are going to be grinding, it will only be for vials/levels when you need them for a boss. if you are looking for the plat trophy, this is probably the kind of player you are already. i think if you are into the combat and weapon/stat system, then it will at least be fun to beat the game multiple times and try different strats on the bosses. if you play a ng+ and you really know where all of the items are and what they're good for, then it's not a matter of grinding, it's a matter of beating that ng+ and actually mastering the game. think of it this way: if you are going to get the platinum trophy, you should have mastered the game. in any case, you need to get all three endings to get all three of the ending trophies. if you play at this pace and just do the story chalices (pthumeru, central pthumeru, ailing loran, lower pthumeru, defiled chalice, and pthumeru ihyll chalice) you won't need to grind for anything. you are intended to beat the depth 1 pthumerian chalice basically as soon as you get it (although you don't have to by any means if you play it later it will just be really easy), but the cursed chalices and higher depth chalices are meant to be played when you are over level 100. you just have to go through ng+, which you are meant to do anyway. It has been almost six years since Bloodborne launched for the PlayStation 4 and dedicated players are still finding new content, most of it in the game's chalice dungeons. For anyone wondering/worrying after seeing that comment thread about grinding for ritual materials: to put it simply, you don't need to grind for any items to finish the story chalices and get the platinum trophy. Using the glyph code 'cummmfpk,' Bloodborne players can enter a shared chalice dungeon that rewards hunters with 83,000 blood echoes in 20 seconds.
